Leveraging a decade of experience in public relations and marketing agencies, professional development was always truly important for me.

When I first started in PR, I studied, I read, I tried everything possible just to know if it works. I quickly was given the title of media maven because of my knack for building relationships, securing hits, and thinking ahead.

I realized that what we learn in school doesn’t really prepare you for HOW to execute and think through public/media relations.

And that many internships didn’t focus on training the intern, rather doing busywork that doesn’t teach you PR.

I also learned that all businesses and entrepreneurs can benefit from PR and media awareness, but many cannot afford to hire an agency or public relations consultant.
